Behind Lovewell-Being…

Lydia is a trauma-informed yoga teacher based in Melbourne, originally from Aotearoa, New Zealand.

With a heartfelt passion for supporting individuals to reconnect with their bodies and nervous systems in ways that cultivate safety, stability, and overall wellbeing.

With over 500 hours of Trauma-Informed YTT and additional studies in Myofascial Release, Somatics, and Breathwork, Lydia offers a grounded and holistic approach that supports the body’s return to homeostasis over time.

A professional background in disability support, Lydia has extensive experience working alongside people with disabilities and brings first-hand experience supporting individuals on the autism spectrum, those with intellectual disabilities, and people living with mental health conditions.

Her work is rooted in respect, dignity, and adaptability. Creating inclusive and accessible practices that honour different bodies, abilities, communication styles, and sensory needs.

Sessions are designed to offer choice, flexibility, and self-paced options so that each person can engage in a way that feels safe and supportive.

Through Lovewell-Being, Lydia’s intention is to support individuals in developing a deeper understanding of their bodies, exploring what it feels like to move and breathe with awareness, and gently notice aspects of the mind and body that may not have been recognised before.

Each practice is thoughtfully curated, integrating movement, breath, and somatic awareness to gently build capacity for resilience, both within practice and in everyday life.
